MARTIN MUNKACSI
Martin Munkacsi arrived on the fashioin scene in the United States in 1934. He had been the highest paid news photographer in both Hungary and Germany.
His first picture for Harpers Bazaar startled the public and hsi competitors. For a bathing suit feature he took his model out of the studio to a windy beach and made her run towards him. Munkacsi didn't like to pose his subjects. He wanted his models to walk about naturally.
